You must appoint/edit the Welfare officer role within Club Portal: https://clubs.thefa.com/
Under the 'Officials' menu option and under 'Key Officials' the Welfare officer is listed. There is a requirement to have a Welfare Officer in place so you can only change the individual holding this role and not just remove someone from role.
Please note, to be eligible to be named as Youth team Welfare Officer in the system the individual must hold;
- An in-date FA DBS
- Completed FA Safeguarding Children Course - online £30 course available 24 hours a day
- Completed the FA Safeguarding for Committee Members
- Completed Welfare Officer Course - online £25 course, tutor led so pleas book on specific time and place you are abel to attend.
To be eligible to be named as an Adult/Open Age Welfare Officer you must hold:
- An in-date FA DBS
- Completed free online Player Welfare in Open Age football
