Modified on Thu, 2 Jan at 4:20 PM

Anyone in regular activity with any children or young people aged 18 years or younger is required by UK law to hold an DBS.

If you have any u18s players on loan, on trial, signed or training only all team officials and medical staff on the associated team will requrie an FA DBS.

As an open age/Adult team official with no linked youth teams, please use the attached 'North Riding Open Age DBS Guide'. You will be required to complete an online application, arrange to meet a verifier (all leagues have their own verifier) and arrange payment, that your club should reimburse.

If you have attached youth teams, please seek advice from the CWO.

Please note only once payment has been received (£10 admin fee) will your DBS process.

FA approved DBS' should be automatically added to your FAN provided these are clear. If any content (past charges, convictions) are detailed you will be required to send off the original DBS certificate for review before this can be FA approved. This is due to GDPR restrictions on sharing personal information and permissions.
